I've noticed that the top end news and publisher sites do this. They have uniquely blended adsense boxes that seem to be customized beyond the scope of ad box editing styles provided in the google adsense accounts. I wonder if these sites have a private partnership with adsence to do this or if it's possible for any webmaster/website to create ad boxes like these? I though of acquiring the page source code, modifying the background colours and adding my own publisher id but I'm pretty sure this is against adsense TOS. Any ideas on how to create these styles is most welcomed! google adsence at the bottom of this page: (one of the BBC's latest news articles) news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/business example of the ad's box style: (from BBC's website) ROOFIS
These are sites with tons of traffic. That is why they have some privilages when it comes to unique ads
Well if that's the case then I guess lower order sites would be stuck with the generic plain styles that get that low stereotype click through rate. I can't understand then why google would cry poor if they don't allow more liberal ad box creations for all to improve cpm. Anyone with a better suggestion? ROOFIS
