Dear DPMembers, I'm earning pretty good at the moment and i have to say that i earn more than i had anticipated at the beginning of my internet business. I'm earning over 1k$ a month and i was thinking that i could get caught for income tax issues. im not sure how this works so the question is: do i have to pay income tax (im dutch btw) over my earnings i get from cpalead and some other countries. i have filled in a w-8 form etc. i beleve thats for taxes but do i have to fill in some additional forms and do i have to pay additional taxes to that? thank you in advance. John.
Well I don't know the countries in your law, but as far as CPALead goes - you just file yourself as a non-USA affiliated citizen or whatever it's called. Of course, you do have to report all your earnings to your government, if required.
It would make a lot of sense to ask a tax professional in your country. If you were in the US, it would cost you about 75.00 - 100.00 for a consultation. I have no idea what it would cost in your country.
bro Tax Only Over USA Citizen You Have No Tax To Pay Why Will You pay Tax? Do You Use USA Street? Do You Live In USA? Well there you go No Taxes Free of Charge
its probably different in the Netherlands than in the US because we have to pay loads of tax over money we earn or get. if someone dies and you get money of that person you have to pay almost 1/2 tax over it. i know its ridiculous but its true. in return we have perfect healthcare and perfect streets etc. if you cant work because you have had an accident you get money etc. its shitty if you earn a lot but its great if you cant work for some stupid reason (disabled or something). with this the crimerate in the netherlands is pretty low compared to the US.
Consult an accountant or make an appointment with the belastingdienst for some free advice. Because the costs/earnings are simple to calculate, you can probably just determine the tax yourself, fill in the requisite forms and pay. . . . I'm always lax in filling out the stupid forms and get fined every few months!
