I just want to know if there's a way to find out if my company's domain name 've got into public spam blacklist? We have some client's mail server refused to receive mail from us. If you know how can i find out the information about my domain, please let me know
It might not simply be your domain that's blacklisted, it could be your hosting service or their mail servers that are blacklisted entirely. Here's one quick tool to check to see if your host is blacklisted. http://www.ahbl.org/tools/lookup.php There's more such tools listed on DMOZ http://dmoz.org/Computers/Internet/Abuse/Spam/Blacklists/
Check out blacklistmonitoring.com. They have lots of information on email blacklists, and have a link to a free tool to check if you're blacklisted.
thanks for your info but i am in problem, one site i want to buy some sites showing its black listed and some not what i do ????????????? its with PR4
plz confirm me about this, http://crimepreventionforum.info/ its black listed or not? i want to buy this one
some mail servers require reverse DNS setup and point to the same IP as your server when email bounces back as not delivered/refused, the message usually contains the reasons I would check that first before worrying about the whole blacklisting thing
You can use the mxtoolbox.com to check the server IP. Generally, it isn't the domain that gets blacklisted, just the server.
Ok, now I check and notice this was asked and answered in 2006, which is about 6 years ago. And we should all thank alonegirl for bring it up again!
