hi, Just wondering what the best way to buy forum signatures is? I want sig links on auto forums. Should i just PM people on popular auto forums asking to "buy their signature"? or shoudl i go to webmaster forums like DP and ask for peoples sig on auto forums? thanks
You should find someone here who can make an offer. Usually non web related forums dont have a clue about buying/selling sig space or just dont allow it.
You can always go to the buy sell and trade section of this site and see if anyone has an auto related sig available on an auto site. I'm on the beginning stages for a forum sig auction site. I hope to get some auto related sigs for sale here shortly.
Valid point made there by Turfsniffer. People who are very active on other forums without knowledge of webmastering might never have even thought of selling their sigs. They might have even report you if they feel suspicious, if you just register and PM asking for sigs. The B/S/T of Digital Point, as with other forums is a good place to place your offers. But just remember, all auto forums may not allow siggys and some may have a no follow tag.
Good point gr8liverpoolfan, some people may report you for buying sigs. Since many spam forums it's no wonder some forums don't allow links and some do them no-follow. I personally don't care if they are follow or no-follow as they offer targeted traffic and some link diversity. I personally think it's good to have some no-follow links.
Go to the DP sig links for sale section or create an account on the forum you are interested in and post asking for a signature link - make sure the person you buy it from has a good reputation though.
I think there are quite a few forum population services that sell their signature spots to all the posters.
