New phpLD Mod - Page Rank Update Tool V1.00

A phpLinkDirectory modification that that allows update the page rank of all links in your link database. You can select as many or as few links you would like to update. You can also reset the tracking to update the links at any later date.

• Updates links with actual current page rank.
• Choose a variable number of links to update at once.
• Reset option to allow updating with latest page rank.
• Update feature available in admin section only.
• Compatible with phpLD V2.00 and phpLD V3.06 (slightly different install process for each).
• And its free too!

David, are you here ? We want this mod integrated into default phpld... please come into an agreement with him I hope it will help all directory owners.

 

When I wrote the mod, I knew how popular it'd be! So I want to ensure all credit stays associated with me and DirectorySpy.com.

There's also the issue of the commercial aspect, since David charges for phpLD V3.00+ and the PR Update Tool is free.

Anyway, I'm easy to negotiate with.

 

There is already a mod similar to this that is available in the phpLD forum. I dont think it has an admin module though.

Nice job on the admin integration.

 

The only mod that I know about is the one where you download the links as a CSV, run it through a program, and re-upload the links to your database.

My mod runs completely on the server.

I have a directory (not live yet) running on 3.04.
It is on steriods and mods everywhere.

The mod is fairly simple to install, only requiring the change of 1 phpLD file for the menu addition (init.php in the admin directory). So it should be able to work on 3.04 using the 3.06 version. I just haven't tested it on backlevels other than V2.00.
