My next goal: 20$/day

Hi dp members

I achieved the last goal of 10$/day this month; now i'm making about 9-13$/day , and hope to reach 20$/day within the next 60 days
my average CPC is 0.05c ¬¬

I have 3 directories (1 niche, 2 general), 1 game site, 1 educational website. at the moment, i'm building more 2 websites

I am guessing that most of your income is from the educational site, right?

yeah, around 70% . the cpc of it is 6-7 cents, while cpc for game website is 3-4 cents. cpc for directories is high, but is hard to get clicks from them

It is news about my neighborhood and I posted and distributed a ton of bw 8.5/11 flyers which I thought would help a lot but it hasn't done much.

What do you think should be my next step? Give up?

I am thinking about scraping real estate listing and having a section to post them.. but please share your good ideas, I'm sure you have better

Kind of off topic heh, but if I were you I'd maybe look into a local regionally-targetted Adwords campaign for some more instant/local traffic?

As to the OP, nice work, 20$/day is a pretty sweet goal

 

You should get to the $20 mark. I've been using adsense for a year and it's gone up every month (except last December - damn Christmas blues!). But you've got to keep promoting. Maybe coincidence but my earnings always go up a few days after a big directory-submission session!

Both game and educational have more than 1k unique visits/day, about 2000-3000 page impressions each. directories have no more than 50 uniques/day ..

Nice Goal, I´m starting so first of all aiming for $1/day to cover hosting/domain expenses, then I will set higher goals.

On a side note, your portuguese educational site looks very good, but I don´t see a text links unit anywhere in the main page. Also the ad colors and position tell the visitor Hey! I´m an ad so please don´t click me.

InfoEscola.com: since april/2006
Directories: june-july/2006

I'm very happy with the directories in last 3 days, yesterday I had 3 clicks, and earned 0.60c , 20 cents per click is sooooooo high , hope it happen in infoescola too

My main competitor of Infoescola, which has more than 20k pages (content!), doing the math, I think he makes around 25,000 USD/month ... this is what I wanna be =D (ps: his site is 7 years-old ... how i would like to get in websites world early)

Well, get more incoming links, add every day at least a site of content, put some adsense rectacles in the content (the adsense in the header isn't doing very well I think)

A new design, adsense skyscraper on the left side, links on the right, put a 728*15 linkblock right under the header, as said big adsense rectagles inside the content.

It isn't so difficult to make some 20 bucks a day ;-)
