reddit is useless for adsense

So Between last night and this morning, i got my blogs traffic to go from 0 to 650 uniques using reddit. But for adsense, the most useless form of traffic ever cause not one of those people gave a click.

 

My friend traffic from Social Bookmarking sites are useless and worthless. As they will give you traffic and possible higher Alexa rankings but will not help your cause for Adsense revenue. That's why I fully stopped promoting on Social Bookmarking sites and let Search Engines pick up my blog posts and bring in traffic.
Be wise and follow the old method of traffic from Search Engines.

 

YEs, the same about stumble it brings very useless traffic.

 

Social Bookmarking service only help you to control Adsense CTR except Twitter..just ask your self..did you ever click any ad when you use any social bookmarking service? I guess your answer will be know..that's simple.

Agree with op, reggit, twitter traffic is kind of useless, no click and high bounce rate

the best way is always original and unique content.

i never use social bookmarking in one of my blogs..only natural seo...just update everyday with unique content and the result is perfect

 

I want to tell you the truth. The best traffic is Search Engine. Last November I checked into my visitors stats and saw that suddenly I have visitors for a keyword. I searched for the keyword for any latest news and I got one and immediately wrote on and published it. In a matter of minutes Google Search Engine picked up my post and I received more than 1200 UV's that day with 25 clicks and more than $5 into my Adsense account.

 

But at least you can get good backlinks from your web submission there, i guess?

 

That is very true! social bookmarking sites do bring a load of traffic but they are not worth it as they do not bring clicks especially for adsense as they know those are ads.
And most of you guys said, traffic from Search Engines is the best as they very extremely targeted.

The headline of a title matter, show as keyword. If you on tech related site, then it is hard to find a new topic, but you can give the same topic with a creative look by covering the same topic with different angel but in my view headline matter to get visitors attention and unique matter to get visitor from search engine.

To SonnyCooL, usually we blogger use some ad blocking plugin ideas to surf faster as we need to cover lot of ground for a single article, so speed matter to us usually..you might be exception.

 

I think one of the most quality traffic is from search engines, especially Yahoo.

 

I get 1 or 2 % of my traffic from Yahoo..usually Google is synonym of search to average people so to me Google is more important to get traffic.

The Digger generation don't click on ads. What would be a good idea is to display CPM banners on your blog! This way you will earn on every impression. Just hope that the b7stards don't have the adblockers on lol.

 

Sorry i don't use AD block, cause clicking their ad is the only way for me to pay back after good information/solution given , AD block might increase surfing speed but i rather pay few second to the author plus some candy if i found what i need

 

Any social bookmarking site will result in same manner. Its better to get hits from search engine
