$25 Logo Contest for HomeInsuranceSavers.com (48 Hours)

I need a logo for a home insurance quote site. The tagline is: "Same Coverage. Less Pay."

I really like the web 2.0 glossy look. The background is white, and please make sure you include ".com" into the design. This contest is similar to the contest I just did for an auto insurance review site. I really don't have any more direction for the contest than that. Feel free to use your creativity to provide a great web 2.0 logo.

The contest will be open for 48 hours or until I choose a winning logo. The winning design needs to be sent in a psd or vector format. I only pay via paypal and pay upon choosing the winner.

I will not take any PM-ed logos or questions. Questions and designs must be submitted through the thread. If you have any questions please let me know in the thread.

Evorg: Thanks for your submission but your design is not what we are looking for.

Rose Media Solutions: Very simple design (nice transparent background, thanks). Looking for more of bubble 2.0 look, but thank you for your submission.

spiderbyte: There needs to be an icon implemented in your design. This design is too basic for what we are looking for.

Flare97: A little too blue and simple for my taste. Thanks, though, for your entry.

 

Could you tell me what to add? You just said it's too simple....What colors should i add? What can i do to make it better? Etc.

 

How about commenting a bit more, and make it easier for the next ones?

I've learned with design that it is hard to explain what you like but it is very easy to see what you don't like. I apologize that I cannot offer more feedback, but the designs just don't resonate with what I want.

The logos that have won my past contests generally have an icon or mascot incorporated into the logo and are associated with very professional styled fonts. These logos also have strong color theory and overall look very professional. Hopefully this helps and I will try to be better in my feedback.

 

zagart: The logo really needs more of an icon associated with it. Also, more color than blue needs to be infused into the logo. Let me know if you have any questions.

xaralee:This logo looks really good and definitely more what I am looking for. No changes needed.

 

Like Evorg I don't have a lot of feedback because the overall concept of the design is not what I am looking for.

 

TightWad: Very nice design. The domain font is a little too bubble but everything else looks really good (I particularly like the the font you use for the slogan).
