An interesting article about possible future of Google

... on CNNMoney.com site titled "Imagining the Google Future": http://money.cnn.com/magazines/business2/business2_archive/2006/01/01/8368125/index.htm

The article is consisted of four different compiled "stories" (which are all extreme, but plausible anyways), that were written by five top web/SEO/advertising/etc. experts. Basically they're four separate possible scenarios that show where the company may be going to in the future; in three of them, Google attains monopolistic power over the media, the Internet, and science/development, and in the fourth one, Google falls prey to privacy intrusion, SEO people/experts and Microsoft (yeah, in the end it's acquired by Microsoft for $25 per share), and dies as a result of it.

Not a chance that Microsoft would ever buy Google at $25/share.

"When the ad dollars catch up to the trend, a mountain of cash awaits, and Google is positioned like no one else to scoop it up."

Adsense cash isn't what it is going to be in the next ten years...what we need right now is a competitor offering 80% publisher revenue and low priced ads to convert both the advertiser and the publisher, and with payout terms of weekly/biweekly.

Anyone want to start a business?

Well what I think is that Google is the best search engine ever and will remain the best for ever. I hope it does.
