I see new directories every single day here.
Those directories, and older ones, should be in my blog.

Just pm me the following information about your directory and I will put it into the blog.
What I do is give about 3-4 hours between postings, so your directory will be on the blog for that long at the top. Then it drops down to number 2 spot, and at some point drops off the front page. It will be archived. Great way to get an all important backlink, exposure, etc.

Title of the blog: Nice title goes a long way
URL of the blog: complete url as in http://www.xxxxx.com]
Name: Your name
email : now optional
Description: Make this as if you were presenting your directory to potential investors. And yes, we all know directories are human edited so you can leave that part off. Tell what the directory is about, why a visitor should submit a link, why someone would want to visit your directory for information, etc.
Type of directory: Important...is it a FREE, PAID, recip only? And if a niche, what niche? (auto only, baby directory, etc).

Yes, whether your directory is brand new today, or the oldest one on the net, you should have it in the directory blogger.

It is a FREE service I give to all directory owners who want more exposure for their directories.

This is your chance to make your directory stand out from the crowd.
This is not a dinky ad or a submission to another directory.
We all know that directories are human edited.
To just use as a description something like "xxx directory is free and human edited, add your link today" is to me not a description, but a cop out because you have a directory and you do not know how to describe your own directory so that others will visit.

There is no much of a limit imposed on descriptions.
So feel free to use 3,4, 5, or even 10 lines.

MAKE YOUR DIRECTORY STAND OUT!

Personally, I see an ad for a directory that says plainly "Submit your link now", I see an owner who does not really like his own directory.
It seems to me, not just on DP, but all over, that all directory owners say "human edited". I would hope so! Unless you have a cat that does it all for you.

Hi Iowa I appreciate your blog and you adding my sites. I have also seen an increase in submissions do to your blog and the few bucks invested were well worth it to me.

Also i like to add that some of these directories are not showing Backlinks in other words i believe that when they add your site they use no follow as it shows that is there but doest give a link back EVERYONE should check to see which directories are worth submitting to that will give you a link back! And those that use no follow with me can expect the same BACK.

Iowa... Maybe you could use this to start spotting the TRUE directories owners that give a back link on a special page and the rejects on another...

Used it to check those who I have exchanged links with and found a couple who have my link, but with a no-follow.
Sent emails to those folks to make it right, or their link is off my pages.

Added just now....If you can not describe your directory, it is a waste of my time to even look at it. It will not be put into the blog. Be descriptive means more than one little line that says in essence "general directory and you need to put your link here" sort of stuff. Any description of one lines are not accepted by me. See the Sept. 14th posting I made about old welsh guy and his description. This is want you should be aiming for.
