What is Promotional Code when signing up to Adwords?

I see on the billing page that there's a section which states:

"If you have a promotional code, enter it here (optional)."

Where do I get this code and do I get a discount?

 

from what I've heard, if you were a customer of the "original" adwords program (when it was pay-per-display, and not pay-per-click), you don't have to pay the 5$ signup fee.

I believe that's what it is.

 

1and1.com was previously giving away a $25 Google Adwords gift certificate when you signed up for their hosting service (Which was free for the first year, last year).

That is what the promotion code field is for.

 

well I still having signed up yet, if you know of any other promotions going on I'll make it worth your while...

 

it's a shame no one has a code to give...oh well

 

I believe you can buy $50 (US) Adwords gift certificates on EBAY! They usually range from $5-10.

Never tried it out, but thought I'd let everyone know!

I got a $100 sign-up bonus and took every advantage of it through GoDaddy reseller hosting I think.

 

Do you still have the promo code written somewhere?

 

www.managemyadvertising.com had promo codes at one time. Not sure if they still do.

 

I can give you a 55$ promo for free, or 250+, but not for free. Or I can tell you haw to get 250$ voucher for free. But everething that comes free will be paid in the end. There is not such thing as free lunch.

I found that you can get a $200 adwords credit if you signup as a publisher to Liquid Web Hosting (my current host) at http://www.liquidweb.com/ my RID=misohoni if feeling generous ;0
