Content diagnosis

Hello fellow DP frequenters

I'm currently working on my second project , the first one which was bingo fell over , i'll be honest i went in for the money. After paying almost a 1000 dollars for keyword optimisation from an independant specialist. I hit 3 visitors a day , and these are not targeted visitors on a website 6 months old and only 6 pages large.

Embarrassing i know , however we trip over in order to understand what pain is and so to avoid it in the future if we can.

My second project , now a few months in , still no where near completion. This my purpose remark , i intend to build this site very large , well large for me , a cyber new comer.

I'm after some tips from our leading figureheads within the backstage industry. If i am too build my website at around 100 pages , easily navigation and lots of content.

Then after launching , will this aid my SEO project or not , as in , for when i do begin optimising the website will the size of it help. My question is , why is content so beneficial and how can it aid my links.

Content is beneficial, because that's what search engines look for.
Having a lot of content is beneficial (if it's indexed) becuase you're giving the search engine more possibility of serving you as a result that's relevant to a specific search query.

 

Content is the key for two things:

1. As maggda said this is what seach engines are looking for.
2. Other sites will not link to a site with nothing worth linking to.

 

if you have no content... what are you selling? and why would people visit your site?
Answer these questions and you know what to do
