    Company name is;

The company is an agency which provides staff to other companies. The actual type of staff we provide may change in the future and I don't want it to influence any decisions so won't mention what industry it's in.

Some points to consider before creating an entry

    • Logo must work at a small size (say 100px by 35px) but I don't mind if there is a smaller variant which doesn't include text - consider how this and this logo relates to each other
    • Logo should be in vector format
    • You are free to choose a colour scheme but the logo should look serious and should work against a variety of background colours.
    • Logo should be free of anything which is covered by copywrite, trademark etc.
    • It should be unique, so no engadget clones please!
    • Please have a read through this post by getvisible, even if you don't enter the contest it is invaluable reading for anyone with an interest in logo design.
    • I believe in the idea that 'less is more' when it comes to logo design. To quote my reply to the OP in the thread linked to above "In my opinion a good logo artist has the ability to come up with something that anyone can copy recognisably with a biro. The real hard bit is at the same time making it unique."

Contest is open until midday GMT on the 17th June, in exceptional circumstances I reserve the right not to award a winner however this hasn't happened yet and you'll notice that my previous contests have all been paid promptly and in full. Payment by paypal within 24 hours of a winner being chosen.

    Good luck!

otakatun I like the colours and I quite like the concept but I find the character looks a bit 'goofy' and I'm not quite sure what he's actually doing.

Right having another look, I take it the arm is a clock hand. I actually really like that concept but the execution is such that it doesn't come across clearly enough. As I say I like that concept but I think it's going to be tricky to pull off.

In my opinion this is unique, recognisable and simple.

Thanks for the feedback RichardPG.. actually I tried to illustrate it as a necktie(as worker), then as a hand that touched the 'access' word(workers is on time at work-a professional and good worker) and last one is as a clock hand itself(represent that workers will continuosly supplied). But then its failed :)...

So here I try with some other variation that I think might work.

Done in photoshop so it's not vector >_>. Don't really know my way around illustrator so I don't know how to work with illustrator and save it as a vector. Sorry.

Hello Richard! Here's my first try in two different versions:
I tried to design logo that can be used with or without text
    V1:

    V2:

And here is preview how V2 could look on T-shirt:

    I hope you like it.

I would really appreciate any feedback from you. Thanks!

A little two hi-tech for my liking. The logo in the middle is interesting but I can see it being a little too complex if we were to have it embroidered on shirts or something in the future.

Nice, will certainly make the short list. I don't think I'd want to change anything with that either.

I'm liking you're stuff but I'm not sure it's right for this project. I can see you're style working on another project I might have coming up though.

Now I get it. I didn't get it was a tie in the first draft. Much clearer now and definitely one for the shortlist. If it's not too much trouble could you turn that tie into his left arm?

No worries. It's a professional and tidy concept. I'm not sure it's quite what I'm after though. I think the style would work well for an accountant or solicitors firm though.

Nice, but a little 'new media' for me and not being vector is a bit of a deal breaker too.

Nice, but not quite what I'm after for this project. Thanks for your entry though.

Some good entries here. I'm going to extend the contest until noon (GMT) on Thursday 18th June.

And I can confirm that as we've already seen logos on this thread which we'd be proud to represent the company someone will definitely get the money too :D
