This guy fought and won something impossible: Aaron Greenspan: Why I Sued Google (and Won) He managed to get 700$ back into his bank after the internet giants Google canceled this guy's account for no reason. Check out his story.
The guy's determination tells that never quit. If something has happened to you for no reason, then fight till you win. The same thing was done by this guy. The associates of Google were speechless in the court.
The guy also fought for trademark of facebook claimed that he was founder of facebook.. http://www.allfacebook.com/2009/05/aaron-greenspan-facebook/
What we need to do is find a good lawyer and file a class action lawsuit against Google! I'm sure a good lawyer could even prove that their terms may actually be in violation of its users civil rights because your account can be terminated for "any" reason determined by them. So while its far fetched they could in essence ban your account because they somehow found out your ethnicity, nationality, gender, etc. I mean we talking about google they can find any of this information out if they wanted to lol.
I am so glad hearing the stuff.. I read the whole post and I wish more people come out in the open and fight for their civil right irrespective of their location.. I am looking forward to people winning cases against these giants.. Thanks for sharing.. rep added.
He actually lost, just posted info today at http://searchengineland.com/remember-that-adsense-publisher-that-sued-google-won-well-he-lost-20663
That is awesome. I wonder how many people this happened to and they didn't sue and Google just kept the money!
Was so happy until i found out he actually lost. His site had no content in the first place. That was the reason i think.
Reas the link rustybrick posted. He LOST to google in court and was awarded nothing. He was blatantly violating the adsense TOS and was encouraging clicks on the ads. Google bans accounts for cause. The more publishers they have, the more money they make - but that all goes away if the advertisers don't have trust in the network.
It's good to see someone standing up and fight back. Whatever reason it is and however the story ends, it's inspiring.
