Does self pings hure search engine rankings

    I believe it is a good practice to link to your old posts when writing posts. But will the self pings created when doing this hurt your search engine rankings ?

    Interlinking articles is important, and helps - not hurts providing the anchor and content relates... Related on site content should interlink.
