No, not a misunderstanding. This guy is out to defraud members on every one of his auctions. It has already worked with 3 of us. I have filed a dispute with Paypal. Here is this maggot's reply to Paypal:

Well, I think it is probably a good idea not to remove this guy's auction but to lock it and ban him so that there is a paper trail here so everyone can see to avoid him like a plague.

It is sad that people have to resort to this.

Did he have a US Verified Paypal account or is it an Unverified Account ? If it is unverified, you might have greater grounds to getting your money back assuming he hasn't withdrawl them and spent it already.

For some reason, I doubt he is residing there. I don't think you can be a cheat and be honest at the same time.

 

A Whois.sc shows where he is. Naturally, it may be a false registration, but I'll do a trace - I have membership to an online investigative website, so I can trace him.

I think this is perhaps his first attemp at fraud; the digital trail that he has left behind is the work of not only an idiot, but an amateur.
