Is HostGator DOWN?

I've seen all my sites hosted on hostgator are down for about 10 minutes. I checked other sites from another server hosted at them and those are down too. Then i checked their site and that's unavailable too. Have you noticed that, or that happens only to me?

Oh it's down and I'm really not happy. This happens way to often. I'll be moving to a better company soon.

 

My sites are not working either

 

I am beginning to get frustrated with these... but its probably nothing that can be avoided with most host companies. Its weird how all sites + the hostgator domain itself is down though. I figure that their data centers would be spread out, and that they'd have their own specific data center for their site for security purposes, or something lol.

 

I was just about to head out (end of the day). All I had to do was upload one dam file. It's strange because usually all the servers don't go out at the same time. You know it's a problem when the main site goes down in the middle of the day US time.

 

I just tried to call HostGator Support at their 866 and regular numbers. I got a message that the numbers are no longer in service or have been disconnected.

We heard back from The Planet (our dc). They are definitely having widespread issues, but details are few atm. More details as we have 'em.

 

Why would I joke about something like that? I redialed just to make sure.

interesting..I use Site5 and they have been down for approx the same time...alright so no hostgator , no site5 who is left? and NO PM's

 

Funny...I'm reading on different forums that people are already bashing HostGator. They are still the best, and I'm sticking with them!
