I wrote this article yesterday on Myspace marketing. I wanted to try to show that there is more to MySpace and other social networking sites than buying a 100,000 bulletin to untargeted visitors. If anyone has any feedback or anything to add I'd be more than happy to add it to the article.
Maybe that'll teach you not to quibble over a measley extra $50 next time When I was doing the reasearch for this I couldn't believe how big MySpace had become, I knew it was big, but 5% of all site visits and $1m per day, that's just crazy!
My Space to me -- seems like the kind of place to not so much make your product the main focus. But rather make who you really are the main focus and blend in your business. I know with Google now supporting My Space and My Space... on a mission right now as to getting advertising and marketing to start to soar -- my prediction is -- within 3-6 months -- My Space just might be a pretty good avenue to promote your business effectively. Peace,Manny
Not bad, kind of obvious to others who have been there but hopefully there will be some follow ups to this one?
I think that's the key. Recently companies have been making themselves more available to clients though social networking, corporate blogs for example. On MySpace your projected personality needs to shine to take full advantage.
Nice article. I have an offtopic question that is myspace related, Google bought rights to implement their search engine right? Howcome I still see overture ads when searching on it's search engine?
