Just thought I'd let you guys know my sites' PR has been updated from PR0 to PR4. It's not registering the PR yet on DP's keyword tracker yet though only the Google API toolbar. I'm a little curious as to why none of the other pages on my site have any PR yet though. I thought the PR was distributed through the other pages on the site??
PR can take a few updates to sink in at the deeper levels. But you are right, it looks like we are in the middle of a PageRank/back link update. Up top in the "Tools" menu, try out the PageRank From All Data Centers tool.
You're a genious with all those tools. A lot of them haven't updated yet but I did do a check on google to see if I had any more backlinks and noticed 1 from a PR6 site. That alone is getting me the PR4 I reckon.
Well, I can't take credit for that tool. In that menu, the ones under "From External Sites" aren't mine.
I know I've hit nerd status when I'm sitting at my laptop at 2:30am getting excited about my web site getting a pagerank update. Think I'll get off to bed now.
Dammit Weirfire I thought I was going to be the first person to report the PR increase I'm happy if this sticks out.. PR6 on main page, next level pages PR5 for one of my sites! Whoo hoo.. and double backlinks too.. no one saw this one coming! Darren Is also off to bed!
Good one for me too... www.digitalpoint.com stays at PR7, but most things one click deep are also PR7 now. And my two affiliate sites each up one to PR7 and PR6. Lame forums.digitalpoint.com is still PR6 though.
The PR on my index page went down one point from 4 to 3. However, the inner pages went from 0 to 3. I changed the design of the home page a week ago - would that have had an effect? I have gained links to the home page, not lost them.
All my home pages maintained their PR. Haven't checked the internal pages yet. But the big jump was in the back links department. Congrats to those who improved their PR
No good news for me. Backlinks for some of my sites tripled, but the PR went down a point for them. Very disappointing.
Yes, SEO_AM, that's pretty much what I'm thinking too. I'm really not panicing at this point. My SERPS are still the same (which are mostly #1). It's disappointing, but I've seen it happen before and recover a month later as well, so I'll just go along for the ride. Nothing else I can do anyway, lol.
Three Of my sites went from pr3's and 4 to pr6's and ALL inner pages became 6's. Two more went from pr0's to pr5's and all inner pages are 5's and one went from a pr5 to a pr4 but thats a gambling sites so I don't care. Odd thing is google is reporting less backlinks on most of them. Maybe it's still shuffling. Another odd thing is it's reporting backlinks I had removed almost 3 weeks ago. Looks like this "backlink snapshot" was taken weeks ago.
