My daily traffic of the site is Avg.. 1000 per day but i got 30 to 40 orders per day. It means my bounce rate is to high and i am not able to overcome the bounce rate. So please give me the solution about how i will reduce this to generate more leads. And also let me know in what the % bounce rate is normal for the site.
Hi Dear, Bounce rate is the percentage of single-page visits or visits in which the person left your site from the entrance (landing) page. Use this metric to measure visit quality - a high bounce rate generally indicates that site entrance pages aren't relevant to your visitors. The more compelling your landing pages, the more visitors will stay on your site and convert. You can minimize bounce rates by tailoring landing pages to each keyword and ad that you run. Landing pages should provide the information and services that were promised in the ad copy. To view the bounce rates for your website, go to the Bounce Rate report under Visitors > Visitor Trending > Bounce Rate. Depending on the source of visitors, your bounce rates might be high or low. But, except for low-value visitors, you should certainly strive for fewer bounces. In one of our case studies on the Return on Investment (ROI) from usability, a website reduced its bounce rate from 30% to a minuscule 2.5% through a simple redesign. Even if you can't always cut your bounce rates to one-tenth their previous levels, simple changes can often lead to substantial improvements. First and foremost, test your site with representative users. You'll almost always find striking ways in which you repel visitors through low-credibility design, fluffy content, or confusing navigation. Second, expose some next steps for people to take if they're interested in the current page. There are two good approaches here: * A linear information path offering a single link to either follow-up information or a deeper treatment of the topic. Place this link at the bottom of the page, where people are (hopefully) motivated to learn more. (But don't use the lame follow-up link employed by the New York Times, which refers people to "more articles" without listing a specific, relevant article.) * Contextual see-also links can provide multiple pointers to key places of interest to people who liked the current page. Specific links are vastly superior to generic navigation menus for this purpose. Third, if you have a product or service that alleviates the pain point that motivated visitors to seek out the deep link, you should say so explicitly (and link directly to it), instead of hoping that people will find the right page by perusing your product catalog. I think this description will help you to over come bounce rate.Good Luck........
I have tested my content and it is much visitor friendly and now i am not able to find out why bounce rate of my site is too high..
check, which page has more bounce rate. Add some more appealing text in that, more offers for visitors, put something interested and worth looking on that page. give the user what they want and your bounce rate will be reduced automatically.
Provide the good and fresh contents and good site design so that the visitors will really like and will go for other pages in the site. This will really reduce the bounce rate.
