I just posted this over in the Microsoft forum, and also in my blog but i though you Adsense users would be interested also: Microsoft's competitor to Adsense, PubCenter is going to open beta beginning tomorrow morning The Microsoft Program manager for pubCenter will be making the announcement at Ad:Tech in San Fransisco tomorrow morning, but you heard it here first cause i'm cool like that
I can't access your blog. It says "address not found". Also is there any source of this information. I tried searching on google but din came across any such announcement or speculation of announcement by Microsoft
hopefully there as good as adsense, in a way i would like to have something to fall back on if for any reason adsense were to ban me... but at the same time competition is normally best for advertisers as it usually leads to lower prices but as a publisher it would seem as its best if adsense didnt have competition.
@irule272; i *believe* that you can put them together, but if you sign up, be sure to read the pubCenter TOS first. to stay compliant with the Adsense TOS you have to ensure that the pubCenter ads cannot be confused with or look like your adsense ads.. again, read BOTH TOS and polices first for yourself to be sure. @SaurabhMit; of course you cant find it anywhere else, because I am breaking the news to the world! It should be discussed at ad:Tech San Fransisco tomorrow..
This sound great since it is owned by microsoft. The problem is the beta only available for the US member only, and wish they will lauch it for the international member
Hi all, Thanks for sharing the news here. Great find! I love reading about the pubCenter TOS and the Adsense TOS... give us more useful tips. But sometimes there were to banned for traffic .lol. Now many competitions are advertised very bigger on social bookmarking. Hopefully that you will lauch it for the international member over the world! All the best wishes. __________________
You should have good moderation on your site. Sounds like an interesting deal. I've always been a bit curious about how effective revenue sharing is (both for the site and for the site members using it) on Digitalpoint and other sites that offer it. __________________
This news was already out in some tech website. anyways its good that now everybody knew this. Sad part is Ad center is now open only for US residents. Lets keep the fingers crossed
This is a great news for publishers. From now on they will be more careful before they ban publishers(without clear reason) because there will be a big potential that they're gonna join competitor(i'm not counting others because all of them far far far way back) which will be Microoft. Of course it's early but I believe that if Microsoft will go over it,they can do this business much better than Google
