Image hosting that pays you

Hi,

One of my friends has recently started a web site that pays for unique pageviews any of your uploaded images. No adult/nude images are allowed. You can also earn by referring people. I think the hosting is good for forums/sites that need free hosting and save bandwidth, images posted on blogs, images posted on ebay, people who are looking to make some extra money. The site is SEO so your images will also get traffic from SEs.

Couldn't somebody with a very large forum just, for instance, host their logo on that then change the link in the script and make a mint?

I think what he means is if he hosts the logo/image on a very active website/forum, the webmaster make quite a bit of cash. All the impressions would be legitimate obviously (by the forum/site users).

There's the trick, you only get the impression if someone goe's to the image view HTML page... it dosnt work for direct-linking.. so avatars etc wont work as impressions

 

Thanks for clarifying, now I understand what maney and others meant. As explained by Chuckun, a pageview is counted when a person visits the html page and not just load the image.
