Microsoft paying you for testing IE - Not fake

I received a mail which said that Microsoft is paying us a sum of $245, for using IE for 2 weeks. And that mail also said that by forwarding that mail to a person, I, also receive another $245. Asked the person who forwarded this mail to me, he said that, the one who forwarded this mail has actually received $10k. I couldn't believe. But he's someone whom my friend known personally. So, I am trying this out. But is there anyone who have paid from something like this?

P.S: The person I said, received the money just tested this two weeks ago but this has started at year 2005 itself.

Everyone receives such mails regularly. But the highlight point here, is that, I know a person who says he paid :D I have nothing to loose here. So, can try this. But just wanted to know if people really got paid from things like this.

I really wonder, would MS be behind all such crap to get back people, to using IE again!

    Please guys......

I just feel embarrassed that people really believe in such crap and actually think of giving such offers a try! :(

Honestly, I wouldn't use IE for two weeks - even for $245 ;)
