Sure his CTR will be pretty high. Then again, people do have the back button taht they can click.

most people click an ad rather than the back button.

Anyhow, his ad placement is creative. If he removed the images pointing toward the ads he might be alright.

They aren't, but google does audit random sites from time to time. Some will get caught and others will not. That's why I don't worry about it, I just concentrate on my own sites.

By reviewing each site before allowing AdSense? Golly, that is what they should be doing. Obivously, the webmaster could change it afterwards - but AdSense should be activated after a website review - not the other way around.

That wouldn't work because they allow you place ad code on multiple sites. Should someone have to submit each site for review? That would be a long process, especially since people can crank out a couple dozen MFA sites a day pretty easily.

I think you just made my point! That is exactly why they need to review each site. Once MFAs become unbearable to get through the review process, then the number of those type of site will be reduced - not eliminated, but reduced.

They allow you to place ad code anywhere - that is part of the problem. Well, this is coming from a sad AdWords user - not a problem any longer - I only use search based AdWords now.

I agree and see your point, I just don't see this happening anytime soon. The man power required would make it cost prohibitive. (I spend a few thousand a month in adwords so I know what you are saying)

Hi all, i'm the owner of http://www.thebeautywallpaper.com &http://www.e-beautywallpaper.com. Luckly i search this forum. I'm tempopary removed the "smile" picture beside the advertisement and will make the change during night time. Beside that, did i make any mistake and need to change? FYI, currently i only earn about 1-3 dollar per day and maximum i hit was 13.

Are you saying you did what you did out of ignorance? If that's the case, I recommend you read the TOS again before you get yourself into more trouble for something else. Having smiley people pointing to your ads is just one of many things that can get you kicked off Adsense.
