Hi, I run several web properties and am seeking a writer for various small projects. Preferably an English native but not necessary. What is important is originality, i'm not looking for a copy and paste writer. Topics include: celebrities, green living, gadgets, eco tech, online business, web marketing, twitter, ebooks, and the like. The pay is .02 per word. Please send me a PM with the following: 1. Your first name 2. URL to your blog, site or writing samples 3. Your availability
Please only send a PM. No need to reply to this thread. Thanks! @chndn_jain Not sure why you would need my email addy to send a sample. Attach to PM.
Thread is closed for now. I have a few writers on board. Thank you. Please don't send me any more PM's.
Hello. I'm new to this and so I don't understand what a PM is but if you can clarify I'll happily send you some samples of previous work. Are you negotiable on price? Regards Kerri
Do not deal with this person. She is a thief who uses your work without paying for it. Because she did it to me and directly violated the TOS posted on my website, she and her site/service provider will be facing legal action.
Senobia: What on earth are you doing? You have no right to be frivolously posting this about established members on DP. I sent pymt yesterday via the Paypal address you gave me. I requested articles from several people and ALL have been paid. What are you doing?
Well I am here to say that m38967 ordered some articles from me and I never EVER had an issue with her paying. Payment was fast and correct, and so was communication. I HIGHLY recommend m38967 and yes, she does pay.
Senobia- I was paid quickly for articles. Did you give the right paypal address? Did you check your paypal account? It doesn't make sense for someone to pay everyone except for you.
I sent her pymt yesterday via the email address she sent me. It sits there in my acct unclaimed. Plus the acct email address she gave me shows no other transactions. Maybe she doesn't know how to use it. Senobia: You should have sent me an email or PM privately FIRST if you had any questions, instead of going around making these unneccessary accusations. Very unprofessional and uncool of you to do.
I certainly did check my Paypal account and there is no payment from her. When you pay someone via Paypal, a receipt is generated. This morning, I asked her to forward that to me and told her I would investigate it. I don't know if she's had time to do that, but she hasn't done that. If an address associated with Paypal is wrong or undeliverable and you send money - I assume some kind of error message would generate. I don't know. I've never experienced it. What I do know is this: 1. I delivered her request within 20mins of her making it. 2. I included an invoice on the delivery. 3. I haven't been paid for it. 4. My writing was posted on her blog within hours of me sending it to her. 5. My TOS on my website clearly state that I retain the copyright to my work until I have received payment for it. The articles have since been removed from the blog by the service provider. She is welcome to them, once they have been paid for...but not until and not unless.
Unclaimed? So..surely a receipt was generated, right? Oddly enough, I haven't received that either..even though I requested it very early this morning.
I called Paypal and they advised me to direct you to them. Please call them and reference transaction ID# 9FK41971M97793224. They are telling me that the email address you gave me is not registered to any Paypal acct. Maybe you misspelled it or missed a digit. Whatever happened, the pymt is unclaimed and will remain that way for 30 days, until a valid email address is used. Paypal will advise you what to do. This is my last response on the matter. Call Paypal and reference the trans ID number above. That's all i can say to you. I'm not wasting anymore time on this. Good night.
I did call them. They confirmed all of my account info, but told me they couldn't discuss anything about that transaction number because I wasn't the one who made it and the person it was intended for was not associated with my account. They said nothing was pending on my account, which I've had since 2003...so I don't know what they did. If there's anyway you can cancel that transaction, you should do that. Because whomever it is intended for is not me, as per Paypal. If you're able to, kindly do not bother sending another one. There has been too much drama already and I'm tired of the back and forth, as I'm sure you are as well. Do what you can to get your money credited back to you. Senobia
