The Tip Verify paypal by your bank account Step By Step

    Step1
Gather your bank account information, including the bank name, account number and routing information.
    Step2
Log in to your PayPal account. You will be at the "My Account Overview" page.
    Step3
Look for the heading "Activate Account" and click "Add Bank Account." You may also add a bank account by going to the "Profile Summary" page and clicking on "Bank Accounts" in the "Financial Information" column.
    Step4
Enter your bank information and hit continue. PayPal allows for two ways to verify using a bank account: if you have online banking access, you can offer your login information to your financial institution's website, and PayPal will check the information to instantly verify your account. Alternatively, PayPal will make two small deposits into your banking account.
    Step5
Check your bank statements for the PayPal deposits. Return to the verification page by clicking the "Confirm Bank Account" link on your Account Summary page, and then enter the amounts of the deposits.

The step suggested by OP is fairly easy and pretty elementary but he should have included the fact in his post that this is effective only for those paypal accounts which has the facility of getting verified through bank accounts...and not for everyone!

No, Paypal UK also requires bank account before one is able to send money or pay something using paypal. :(

Which of course sucks if you don't have a bank account but have a prepaid visa card.

For example my customer ask me to set up hosting at certain provider. This host is blazing fast, cheap, brings high quality servers and has a good rep BUT only accepts paypal.

My customer want the invoices on his company and ask me to take care of all. so i have to enter their details, and use the prepaid card I received to set up a paypal account.

I cannot order as it requires bank details.

Of course this sucks as this takes a week. And we need to get moving.

These days good hosting cant be ordered overnight because of these ridiculous problems.

Verifying your PayPal account by looking for the transactions made and entering the amounts in PayPal takes up to 3 business days to process. If you do the instant activation, you just give the username and password to your online banking account and it will activate.
