This is from searching "learn to design" without the quotes, or first page (4 results down) for "learn to design" with the quotes. Is this good guys? I know my domain is basically doing this on itself i'm not sure if this is pretty good or not? Would like your opinion thanks guys. Jamie
It used to be that being in the top 3 pages was all you needed. Nowadays, people generally don't go that far, so the first page in the top 3 psitions is really where you need to be to get significant traffic for your targeted keywords.
That is an uncompetitive keyword. According to Google, they only get about 73 monthly searches for that phrase. So page 2 will not get you traffic for that keyword. You need to keep building more quality backlinks, especially with good link anchor text. I noticed that for your signature links you use the url instead of keywords as anchor text. You are losing some benefits by doing that. Before you do anything else you should do some thorough keyword research. You need to decide which specific keyword phrases you want to get rankings for. They should be keywords that get decent search volume but are not too competitive.
I found you at 18th position. Still good. Having learn to design in your domain name helps, plus having Learn to Design in the front of your title helps too.
I agree with vansterdam. You need to boost your anchor text. And I agree with xtreme fever, being on the second page is worthless. The top three positions are what count. I know; it's so unfair but that's how it is. People are lazy: if they cannot find you in the first three listings they will type in a new search, How crazy is that? Cheers, SiteBetter
Im seeing you in 18th position too. Its good if it leads to visits and all that, sometimes ranking for certain keyword phrases can seem easy, but ranking for useful keyword phrases much more of a challenge.
I agree with xtreme. do not forget to put the keyword on your content and update it regulary, to tell Google that your site is alive. Keep up the good work
Well.. "learn to design" may mean anything it is a very very broad term. I don't think anyone will search a general term. If you had got on top of "learn to design website" that may be of some use.. Anyway it is always great to be on the 2nd page of google.. good luck
Nice job but its not going to help much. People only really click on the first 5 positions on the first page. Don't rest your entire website strategy on search engines. You will just be pulling your hair out as you move up and down the SERPs. Work on visitor loyalty.
Target keywords which will benefit you. This is not a good keyword. Without keyword no use of SEO. SEO*Keyword=Results If Keyword=0 Then SEO*0=Results=0 Got it.
