Just days ago, I was enjoying the privilege of being in the first page when searching my articles at google. My traffic averaged 15K that time. Just recently, I was shocked when I can't seem to get traffic anymore. I monitor this in real time and all I can see is traffic from social bookmarking sites. I became curious and tried searching my posts/ indexes. Now, I am not displayed even on the first 10 pages.

Can you help me identify what went wrong? How can I correct this problem?

I would wait it out. Google has been doing some updating and that could be the cause.

    what is your site age?
sometimes google is giving higher priority to new posts of new sites and gives more priority and then it will reduce as time passes.

There can be other reason for these.

My blog is almost two years now, but I stopped blogging a year ago. I just reactivated it less than a month ago. Is that the reason? How can I increase it back?

Just try confirming again if your blog is still indexed at all by google by searching for your domain name itself....That should at least clarify whether any punitive action has been taken by google or not!

Perhaps you have been affected by Google's latest algorithm update that puts more focus on trust. You likely just don't have enough quality backlinks to get good rankings.

"Google's latest algorithm update that puts more focus on trust."

Could you elaborate more on that? Yeah, I must agree that my site is just pretty new. In terms of quality, I do update it daily.

Yea its gotten our new site as well (pushed it back a few pages) i would hold off as the serps are dancing like mad and should settle down in a few weeks.

In the meantime keep updating fresh content and building backlinks from relevant places so as to help move ya back up.

    thx
