What you guys say about getting "sitewide links". And how does G reacts with them? Any benefits? Or any drawbacks?

i would quite happily take them.

biggest concern....stay away from link farms,
apart from that...all else is fair play

I think, the only way to get sitewide links from other sites is by money. So when I buy sitewide links, shall I stick to them (say for 6 months atleast) or shall I hunt for sitewide links from other sites every one month or so, and keep on dropping and getting the sitewide links.
I hope you get what I am trying to say.

whichever site you get sitewide links from, you should stick with it for at least 6 months.

if you want sitewide from my 28k pages...send me an offer on a PM...
    with your site url :)

Many have talked about them being trouble on forums recently.

    PM sent.

Ya, I am not considering getting those from forums. I am trying to get those from a well related site having a descent PR, also preferably listed in DMOZ.

I think this is a very interested subject since one of my sites disappeared from Google, in January this year, just a month or so after I exchanged 3-way sitewide links with a couple of sites.
I removed the links and they did the same but I am still not back in Google.

I didn't see any proof Google doesn't like site-wide links. MSN seems to love it very much.

I have been wondering a link question for a while, for example:
I have a website with 100 pages, let's assume they have equal link power, two link options:
    1. Link to 10 sites with site-wide links.
    2. Link to 10 sites with only 10 pages, only one link on each page.

Which option is better? If google doesn't count more than 10 links, the second option is better.

I removed the site-wide links my sites were sharing with one another and I experienced a 10% drop in traffic.

The side-effect was that my AdSense ads became more relevant and I experienced a 30% increase in CTR. :)

Will, did all of your sites cross-link to each other on a sitewide basis?

Site-wide links is the best way to increase backword links.

    Cheers!~

Question I have is that google states that there is almost nothing that a competitor can do to you to get you penalized by google. So my question is, if you have sitewide links from other websites and there is no cross linking then how can this hurt you?

Lets say for an example you have 15 sites and you point sitewides to 2 of those 15 sites from the other 13. How can this hurt you if they are all also on different C-Blocks?
