I've had some top ten positions for Yahoo for a while now. Of the nine sites I track, I now have four #1's on yahoo. And with each of those four, I have #1 for msn and google for the same site/keyword.

#1 out of 178,000,000 is very impressive, congrats!

I've seen the same, jumped into the top 5 from nowhere, looks like it's a major algo change as not much is different on the site in question over the last few months. Looks like they're taking IBLs into account more is my guess.

I doubt it is a major algo change though. It is almost as if they had held back on counting new backlinks for a while and now have refreshed the backlink effects. Just speculation though. They have been quiet for a while so I wonder what they have been up to?

Yeah interesting update, lost 2 keywords ( they may come back a lot are spammers, those 2 keywords get spammed a lot)

I gained a lot of ground in other keywords ( top 10) and I have my first #1

Ya... love this Y update. One of my sites coming on top for 3-4 of my major keywords. Jumped to #7 for a KW which is showing 14,100,000 results and is searched 330,000+ per month according to overture.
But still not much increase in the traffic as I was expecting. Strange

What a great update! I have been checking all my results, tons of first page results and a couple of number ones.

This update crushed my blogs. Both of them used to be on the first page. Now they are nowhere to be seen.

Have to admit with all this kind of news, I figured our Yahoo! SERPs would improve quite a bit. We do really well in G and are not Blog oriented (as outlined above). In fact in MSN and Google we sort of dominate certain searches/topics, yet Yahoo! is not really giving us much love...looks like less if I am seeing the updated results.

Those of you who have improved...are you top ranking in MSN and G as well?
