Adsense making me bang my head against the wall today

Ugh...looks like another crappy adsense day. Usually I'm averaging around $35 or so a day and so far I've only made a little over $11. I sure wish Google would give some kind of explanation as to why ad revenue can fluctuate sometimes like this! growl

 

I average around 16-19 a day and today im only at $6, and by this time im already in double digits, so yeah, maybe its because its a wednesday :S

 

Best solution to this problem is to stop looking at your income each day. I confess - I've not managed to accomplish this myself...

could be the day of the week, could be that reporting is slow, etc.

 

Advertisers bids change, they reach their budgets, traffic fluctuates, different visitors click differently. Just go with the flow and it'll average out in the end. All you can do is your best right?

 

I hope you're right...I had this same thing happen on Sunday. Made half what I normally make. Maybe it is better to not log into my adsense account ever 5 minutes? lol

 

True...very true... there are so many variables to this adsense thing I guess that's all you can do

 

just a question.. would that mean you should earn more at the start of the month? new budgets start etc.. ?

 

You should be looking at your eCPM, not your total earnings. Did traffic drop? Or did traffic stay the same and the eCPM dropped? Either way gives you your answer..

 

Ive haddy a shitty day too.

CTR 1.3% and my average is 3.5%. My eCPM is less than a fith of what is usually is.

But ive never had to 2 bad days in a row so at least I can look forward to tomorrow!

 

My CTR took a nose dive today too along with it went revenue. Impressions remain same as previous Wednesdays so dunno whats up. Must be market related or something..tomorrow hopefully will be a better day.

My earnings have been down recently also. Google has been paying shit recently...

 

My problem today has been my traffic. It's almost non-existant. Just a slow day.

 

It's been slow for me lately to, mostly make around $10 a day now I am down to lower the $5 a day in the past few days.

I had 2,600 impressions today and 2 clicks. 2 CLICKS!!!!!!!

And those 2 clicks gave me a total of $0.11 - Faaahk. I've had better days with only 400 uniques. =|

 

I think there was some kind of problem with adsense yesterday. I noticed PSA (or rather my replacement ad) on sites..

 

Yeah, what happened to Wednesday? It was my BEST EVER day for uniques. My BEST EVER in three months, yet income was pretty bad, maybe half what it normally is, due to a lack of clicks. I think something is up, and it better get fixed soon.

 

For the record my income is normally well above $150, all except one of my top ten sites (which are 80% of my adsense income) went down yesterday in earnings.
