Twitter Questions and Answers (Viral)

I picked this site up here on DP, had a few things added to it.
I had bought this for a long term site, but with the new baby on the way, I'm trying to clear out some of my online sites.
The site gets about 70 visit a day, but with a little promotion this could go up to 100-200 a day easy.
The greatest thing about this site is the viral capibilities of the site.

This is a great twitter site, don't let it pass you by.
It's completely unique, you get full rights to the script, the phrase can be changed easily if you wanted to make a few more sites with the same script.

 

yes you are correct, that's what I get for trying to put an auction up before my cig's.

I'm placing this site back up for auction, everything holds true like in the OP, but the site now has a Page Rank of 3
I've added individual status pages, and a search option.


The site has had over 4,000 page views, with over 2,000 unique visitors.. I'll attach a screenshot from analytic.
I've added a public stats widget as well, so you can check it out as well.

The site has almost 300 pages indexed
and is in the top 3 for "Twitter Questions" ( Results 1 - 10 of about 54,700,000 for twitter questions. )
It's getting hits from other keywords, but that is one that I had noticed when I was listing it last month.

I had an offer in PM of 300, but the guy only has 3 post so I'm a little iffy about that bid.

 

Firstly, site is awesome. Secondly, why would you like to sell? Thirdly, how is the adsense doing?

 

A few questions/suggestions:

The site used to have an "archive", so more than the first page showed. Would it be possible to add in a way to look at older questions? Right now, all I see is the front page.

Why does the search option search twitter for the term rather than the questions on the site? Seems like if I am searching for something, I want to search the questions, not twitter in general.

How do you access the individual pages? The only links I see on each "question" are a link the person's twitter profile, and the link to answer the question. Also, I am not sure how the individual pages work, obviously, these don't all fall under the question category:

Let me check on the adsense, that banner was just added when I updated the script.

It looks like it's made 2.28 since I added the banner, not sure on the exact date, it was after my last post on here before I listed it again.
I've not tried to monetize the site for adsense, it's more of a way to get followers by answering their questions, and the site naturlally gets links back so the page rank will increase over time with very little work.
We've also had a few blog reviews about the site, I'll track down some links and add them here in a second

I removed the extra pages, I didn't like the look.
They could be added pretty easily, but I'm selling the site as is
the search is like search.twitter.com
I had the code redone completely from when I listed it the first time, it's more efficient this way
The next thing I would going to add was a sitemap, the status pages are getting indexed already, but I thought a sitemap would help that.

Thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, the changes made devalue the site for me drastically. If I were to win the site, would you make the changes suggested to the code included in the cost?

I don't think you answered the individual pages question, they don't seem to follow the "question" theme of the site, they are just random tweets. I randomly typed in 15 random numbers less than 668, not one of them had a question, or answer in them. Can you explain why they are there, how one can find them, etc.

nope, as I stated, the site is sold as is
I also stated that the additional pages wouldn't be hard to add. I wasn't finding many going to the 2nd, 3rd or 4th page so I removed them to keep things clean.

and yes I did, the search is using search.twitter.com
that's why you get the stats pages that aren't questions.

ps.. this script can easily be configured to search for other "terms"
so if you wanted all tweets that had "marketing" in them, you could use this script and make a new site in a matter of seconds
