Is it worth parking domain with whypark?

I have about 100 domains parked at sedo but they recieve low trafic as well as ppc. So I was wondering if anybody tried whypark.com or other similar websites to get better results.

I don't know for sure. However there was a post about whypark few days ago and some people are making money with WhyPark

I looked into myself and why park seems very interesting.

WhyPark is nice, but it will probably hurt your domain in the long run as it ads ZERO value to a visitor and remember that google is not stupid.

Ok it would be nice if somebody could reveiw that system. And by they way does anybody know any parking company which allows you to add your own content, like text or images, because normal parked pages do not rank very high with google.

Everyone's experience will vary depending on the domain name and effort, however, I can offer my experience with parking. I have tried the following parking services: Sedo, Parked, Whypark, Namedrive, Noomle. Sedo gets the most traffic, Parked has best category templates, Namedrive has best click revenue. Whypark is a good idea but I found that the amount of custom work required to get good impressions was greater than just using Wordpress and a good theme and plug-in. This is if you are going to do original content. My conclusion: Its better do go with Wordpress or Joomla and use good themes than try to fit original content into a parking site.

My experience only. I'm sure others have had success with parking but it takes the right kind of domain portfolio tailored for parking, imo.

I agree completely with your statement on WhyPark. You see all these domainers with high expectations hoping to triple their PPC by adding what is considered a splog with syndicated content.

Here's a post I found on the subject: $20 a Day and Climbing on Whypark
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=965567

I was thinking the same thing, but you can always recover your domain standings once you build new content on another server. You just get Google to spider your new content, and they'll rank it accordingly. It may take a few months, but it won't be banned forever.

If you have a lot of domains and you just want to monetize quickly, why not use the traffic that Whypark gives you? Just don't spend a lot of time on each one.

    What about google parking?

    https://www.google.com/adsense/support/bin/answer.py?answer=100301

    Somebody tried it?

    aveturk:

to keep updated 300+ joomla and/or wordpress sites can be challenging... do you install one site per domain or use some kind of common site for domain groups?

To setup the registrar pages takes some time, but you don't need to worry about tech maintenance.

    domainloco.net,

i've used all of them that you've suggested but only noomle.com has been the big winner. seems like they know something all the other parking places don't (i.e. the old parking model isn't working anymore).

Yeah it's so clear that there needs to be value for the visitor. Having a bunch of outgoing links is giving away your traffic. Anyone who parks domains are getting robbed by the parking companies and the advertisers. It's actually funny to see how much people trust them.

Google parking sucks for one main reason, they have a big bold statement at the top saying that the page is nothing but sponsored ads. Realistically, the whole point of parked pages is to 'fool people' into thinking that the links will take them to a page of a website, when in essence it will pay off some ad revenue to you.

Just my opinion. I'd rather use a parking service that makes the page look inconspicuous. If I wasn't in internet marketing, didn't know what a parked page was, and saw a Google parked page stating that it's nothing but sponsor ads, I'd simply close the site.

Take the time and a mini site to some of your domains, it's way more rewarding and won't get you penalized in the long run.

I totally agree with this, if you have the time to create a mini site and want an alternative to parking. You'll get 100% of the profit by using your own Adsense ads this way.

Moreover checking the html source you will notice that is noindex, too :p

WhyPark topic: I used to have 30 sites with them but received very low traffic and pretty zero paid clicks. So I've switched all names (even those that were at sedo, too) to my personal hosting platform and started getting some nice clicks. :)
