How much would a forum with an alexa score of 270k, 13k members, 300k posts and a monthly income average of £350 - £400 be worth?

more often than not, sites are valued at approx 10-12 X monthly revenue
some buyers like to pay a little more than that if they see particular value and/or community in a site, but that sort of valuation is pretty much the bench mark

You could expect to attract offer of approx 4-5,000 quid I should imagine, but other factors do play a part

in a forum a lot more depends on active users vs total members, and the niche too, it may apeal to some but not others ...

It would depend on the amount of active users, how many are real users and not spam, the niche and whether it comes with script license, and also domain would play a factor too. By the way, I think this should not be in the BST section.

If it is a forum, I think the number one factor is the niche. For example if it was a warez forum, then it wouldn't be worth much at all.

First off, you have posted this thread in a wrong forum. (Reported it)

And about the forum, it would be really helpful if you could post the url.
And it completely depends on the kind of niche it is all about.

why don't you list it like most sellers and see how the bidding goes in the free market or get a broker!

Just testing initially. I've never sold a site before, with it making £400 a month I was hoping for around £3k. Any less and it really wouldn't be worth selling.

I'll think into it a bit more. Thanks for your time guys.

    *Nice Hammers stream btw! :p

Try ebizvaluations.com - the tool is based on selling price research i.e. what sites similar to yours have sold for.
