Worst earnings ever!

This has been the worst month for earnings I have ever seen. I know it's the economy and my earnings are being hit hard. I'm noticing it's not just the payouts per clicks, but also less click-throughs as if people aren't willing to buy, so why even click!

My earnings this month are also down. I'm not sure why, but to counter the problem I've started spending more hours working on my websites.

Its a good time to look for alternate sources of advertising, some ads that paid really well a year or two ago are horrible now.

Those having the best month ever I believe are the exceptions...I'm seeing that the majority of Adsense users are earning less.

Clicks have been so-so for me. But HOLY CRAP on earnings. They are pathetic. I swear I am averaging crap per click on what I thought would pay a little more. Say average is 100 clicks on a particular site. I'm making about 3 bucks on it. Sucks!!!

I never focused Adsense as a main business model. And sure am glad on that one. But it is a bit of a bummer that it has been so low.

I seem to be getting more per click now. When I started the blog at the start of december I was getitng like... 5 cents a click, sometimes 10. I've had quite a few $1.50 + clicks this month thus far.

December is always bad. January is better -- every year. This year, however, you should expect pooer earnings due to the economy. Google advertisers are spending less, which means we who use Adsense earn less.

I noticed most but not all are saying that their earnings went down for this month. Wow! Is this part of effects of the global financial crisis? even people are not willing to click and ads are going down too? hope not.

It's not that people are not willing to click but rather business is cutting their advertising expenses to save money...
