Google Kicked Blogspot Users ? Premium Users Not Affected

Discussion in 'AdSense' started by technolarity, Jan 23, 2009.

It seems that google has blocked almost all blogspot users using custom tracking channels/ their own adsense code.

I have started using the default adsense and my CPM is only 1/3 today.

    Premium users not affected

This happened shortly after google reported higher ad sales.

    From: "Inside AdSense Team" <inside-adsense@google.com>

If you have a Blogger site, some of you may have noticed that your ad units began showing public service announcements (PSAs) in the last nine hours. This was due to a technical issue that we've now identified and resolved. As a result, you should now begin seeing paid ads on your pages again.

If you're still displaying PSAs after 24 hours, we recommend reviewing our Help Center and using our PSA troubleshooter.

Thanks to everyone who helped report this issue, and we appreciate your patience.

I was responding to Horisly. Google DO NOT take a further cut of the Adsense. This would be illegal, as it is not mentioned anywhere on Blogger, nor Google. If someone could prove that they are doing this, then you'd be able to screw the company for millions. Why would they take a cut of their own publishers (on their platform) and not take a cut of rival publishers on Wordpress? Makes no sense. With channels, I just use custom URL per blog. I take it the OP is emplying that bloggers who open up a JAVA widget and embed their own code and then setup a specific ad channel to monitor that unit are all being screwed/taken down? It's just not logical to suspect the biggest company on the Internet as being scammers. I have 100% trust in them.
