sharing yet another good article.. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Tips For A Successful Adsense Site One doesn't have to dig very deep on the internet to find an adsense site. At its most basic level, an adsense site is a site which displays Google Adsense ads to earn money. The problem is that the majority of Adsense sites are trash – just content scraped off other sites that has been thrown together into a mish-mash that the webmaster calls a website. If you want to be highly successful in the Adsense site industry, you're going to have to do something drastically different. Following are several tips you can use to distinguish yourself from the crowd. 1 – Use a professional design Many adsense sites use a very basic, cheap looking template that they paste their content into. If you use a professional website design, people are more likely to place value and trust in your site. 2 – Use unique content Don't use recycled content. Take the time or money required to get your own unique articles and content written for your site. This will allow you to offer your readers content that they cannot get anywhere else, as well as give you better rankings in the search engines. 3 – Create a valuable resource The purpose of an Adsense site should not be just to get a visitor to come and click on the ads. It should be to get a visitor to come, and because the like you site so much, keep coming back again and again. That is how you can have a highly successful site – returning visitors. 4 – Use other monetization methods Adsense should not be your only source of income from a site. Sell a product, promote affiliate programs, sell banner ads, or sell text link ads on your site. This serves to diversify your income, as well as gives other content for your visitors to look at or click on. ________________________________________________________________________________________________ Author Info: Gabriel Adams: Learn how Niche Content Packages can help you get unique content for your website: http://www.buy-niche-articles.com
Strangely enough, creating a successful web site with many returning visitors is not always the same as creating a successful Adsense site. Returning visitors often become ad-blind. Even if they see the ads, they certainly don't click on ads every day or on every visit. Their reason for returning to the site is to see changing content and get updated information, not to click on ads. The ideal Adsense site would get a totally fresh set of visitors every day. A good compromise is to aim for a good mix of new and old visitors.
moonrock - can you give some examples of a good adsense site? either your own or not... how about a review of my new site: www.cheese-burger.net
Point 3 will often depend on the type of site you have. If you have a blog, news site, entertainment site then you have a chance of returning visitors. A medical site will not necessarily get the same visitor returning to it.
Having regular visitors to a Web site is a double-edged sword. On one hand, you generate the level of traffic necessary for decent Adsense revenue. On the other hand, those same visitors are less inclined to click ads. The best Adsense sites probably have a nice blend of organic traffic and regular visitors.
you have a point there. i think one good way is changeing the image with adsense ads. that way, you may minimise the ad-blindness. i'm a very visual person, so it'll definitely work for me
hey!..i'm only into my 2mth in adsense. will post it when i found one, or when my site becomes successful but i must say i like you site.. and your theme! cheese burger!.. hah.. that's really out of my box! now what can i think of to have a web site for!?
Regarding Tip #1 to #3, I have a 3-month old blog/site that is making $40/day (with Adsense, over $100 combined), and it's an ugly POS, the content is derivative of a million other sites, and the only valuable resource it has is making me money. As for Tip #4, agreed. Here's my Tip: Learn SEO and site promotion (without spending a dime on marketing) and you, too, can make money off a crappy site.
yea.. you're right there 1Eight. just check my stats today, my impression goes down recently! and so is my earnings. the days when i have high traffic, i get more revenue!
I've found that the most effective "Adsense sites" are ones that derive traffic from Adwords. Naturally people who click on Adwords ads to arrive at your site more likely to click on the Adsense ads on your site. The problem is that you're are not likely to make any money if you rely entirely on Adwords for traffic. In some cases, you actually may be able to turn a profit through clever keyword bidding.
I just got in and i love the topics here. Good shariing peeps. Looks like i'm gonna be here longer. Cheers guys Matt
