75$ logo/tagline for a webdesign company

We need a memorable, unique, web 2.0 and proffesional looking logo for a Web design company, which is going to be launched really soon, we'll start with the site design once we get a hold of the logo, Also, the winner will get lot of other logo work.


Brand Name:
Pixel Shark

Colors:
Web 2.0 blue and black... Something along the lines of that. Think 'shark', also keep 'web design' and 'pixel' in mind while choosing your color scheme.

Prize:
50$ to the logo winner, also 15$ for the best chosen tagline (PS: If your not submitting a logo, you can try for a tagline, As long as its catchy and short, it'd be definitely considered.

Payment:
Payment will be processed via Paypal.

Hints:
- We're looking for a icon+text logo, Whether it be the icon placed above or next to the text, An icon is necessary.
- Something that 'sticks out'.
- A mascot-type logo gets automatically considered.
- Clean/Uniqueness is what we're after.

Last but not least, We reserve the right not to choose any winners if none of the entries meets our criteria, but most likely, this won't happen.

This is more along the lines of what Im after. I like what you did with the 'x' Could you slim down the font a bit? Or use a narrower font? Something like this.. About the shark, I like it, good job on that.. I prefer your first version. But can you make your shark look MORE like an actual shark? (eyes/fin/ different angle etc.) Cause if I stare it for more than 5 seconds, It doesn't really look like a shark to me. Your in the lead so far, Creations4You

I love the typography in that, the font, the style, everything. I'd want pixel and shark to be in two different colors.

this is the type of look I want.. Simple, yet appealing to the eye as well as extremely proffesional. Instead of that square, you can use a circle, and have a shark/shark head sticking out of it.. And somehow incorporate the some sort of pixel element in it.. Also, I like how the first part of their text is bold, and the other is not.. Good way to separate both words..

I love this logo.. The shark used in it is AWESOME! Im not very fond of that text though, But if you can do a shark like that, You'd have a 99% chance of winning.. PS: I really like the spark in its eyes.

Here are a few of my tries at shark logos. These can be easily modified if there's something you don't like about one or the other of them. Here's some fun taglines (probably stupid, too, but if nothing else they will give you something to laugh at
Oh, and that black line in his teeth that looks wierd isn't in the final. That was an accident I didn't notice till I uploaded them. These took me about 10 minutes each. They can be easilly cleaned up if you like them. I don't do logos, so I didn't bother with that, as you probably wouldn't liek them. (web 2.0 and I don't get along). But character and taglines, I had fun with.
