Post on FlickrBlog about Yahoo acquiring Flickr and Ludicorp According to the blog, Yahoo has acquired Flickr, an up-and-coming image hosting / photo sharing service. Interesting fact? They still have Adsense ads on their pages.
Because the deal isn't finalized yet. And it takes time to make changes like that one. Plus there's no real alternative live yet. But indeed, I'm sure they'ss swap that for their own service soon.
