2.0 Logo Contest - $35 (BoardingVideos - skate/wake/snowboarding)

Hello all!

I just had a great success with my makeup videos logo contest, and many many logo contests in the past have good great for me here at DP!

Now I'm in need of a logo for BoardingVideos (dot) com!

Site will be on this template www.StrategyVideos.com and the quality of that logo is what I expect to see here.

$35 Paypal to the winner, I'll post detailed feedback on each submission and end the contest when I find a winner (usually a couple days and have ended some as soon as one hour).

Cool first entry, let's try to stay away from "antenna" in the design (no need to revise at this time).

Also, the color scheme will be the exact scheme that is in the template I showed as an example.

Cool! I tend not to ask DP'ers for revisions until I've narrowed it down to 2 entries to choose from, because I just feel like you guys don't need to be slowed down with extra work.

I think I'm looking for something more brandable, but definately have to say your concept of the board looks awesome!

My first version will be done in < 10 minutes.

 

Definately a good font, I dislike the black but the blue color is great.

The scroll of film is a nice touch as well, but to become a brand I feel it needs an added touch relating to boardsports.

This is only the first version. I plan to make it have wake boarding and snowboarding in it somehow (if you want).
Also it doesn't really fit with the template the on http://www.strategyvideos.com/. At least not the size. One my next version, ill make it wider.

I suppose i did. Do you think that i should continue to work with what I have or scratch it and start over?

 

I think what you have made would make an AWESOME die cut sticker, but I think I'll need something a bit more BOOM to create my logo/brand width.

Something that really nails it - I appreciate the entry though it's good work but more likely starting over would be best.

Interesting entry, may I ask what the graphic is to represent?

Also - I'd like to say your graphic is VERY 2.0 and inline with what I'm looking for quality wise (even though I don't quite get it) but I think the font lacks in that department just a bit.

Typically this is not a problem though I can work with a winning design to tweak the font after choosing, so don't be too worried about it.
