After each description I have included a link to the advertisors site. These are my referal links and if you found my write up helpful please sign up as my referal otherwise feel free to just visit their site and sign up. Eitherway I hope you find the following information useful.

    AdSense:
I am sure everyone is familiar with AdSense so my description will be brief. I have been using AdSense for probably over two years now and I have placed AdSense on every single one of my sites. I have found that it is a very effective system and every webmaster should try to get accepted and use it on their site. One of the things that should be taken into account is blending it in nicely with your site. I found that if you blend the ads in your CTR (click through rate) will increase a tad bit and every bit counts, right? Also the CPC (cost per click) varies greatly. I have had clicks worth $.01 but at the same time had a single click work $2.92 at one point. It really depends on the nature of your site. On one of my more recent site I noticed that the rates I would get per clicked have dropped steadily because so many similar sites have been comming up. So if you can think of getting into a market with not so many similar sites you should make very decent money per click, otherwise even with a site that you see everyone having you should still make some money. Of course google does send checks and I have recieved every single on of my checks with flawless problems. And I've heard some people speak before of if you make too much google waits and then bans you for "fraud" this is not true as I have recieved checks from them in the $1,xxx and $2,xxx range. As long as you are honest with them if you accidently clicked on an ad or something you should never have problems with AdSense in my personal opinion.

    PayPopUp:
I have been using PayPopUp for maybe about 2-3 months so far and my opinoins are as follows. The rates are very decent and what got me to sign up in the begining. The used to have Live Support which was awesome but only recently they have taken it off and I am dissapointed. Some of my support questions takes time to get replied to. I have been waiting easily over a week for one of my issues to be resolved. I must say in the beginings they were very helpful though and worked with me to solve some issues. I have also had 2-3 problems with their pop-unders causing Trojans to be downloaded. I complained every single time and this was dealt with but the problem still persists therefore I have taken down the pop-unders they provide. They pay a very decent rate of $1.44 per 1000 pop-unders (this is with Active-X disabled) I have also been using their 468*60 banners for CPM ads and they also pay a decent rate for this $.15. One of the MAJOR problems which I had with PayPopUp and am still working to resolve is their stats software. While they only show and pay me for 20-25k impressions my site recieves over 100,000 sometimes over 150,000 impressions daily. So though they may pay more their stats software does have some problems. I am sure they are aware and working to resolve but it has kept me from fully using their system as not everything is counted, but it is still displayed. PayPopUp has also been on time sending me all my payments so far. I have gotten 2 checks from them and have had no problems from that point of view.

    Adversal:
I have been using Adversal for about 3 months now as pop-under advertising. They pay for RAW impressions meaning every page load. They used to pay $.80 per 1000 pop-unders but recently they have taken up their rates to $1.20. I am very impressed with Adversal. Their stats software is closer to my actual stats but againt not exact. The support is excellent and Kyle is always prompt to be as helpful as possible. The only thing I don't like about their system is that stats aren't real time and update sometime between 12-4am but in my opinion I can deal with stats updating once a day. They pay once a month and I have indeed gotten checks from them too.

    Right Media:
I have been using right media for about 2 months now. I use them for impression ads and I use them for pop-under ads. To begin with their rates. In the begining their rates were a bit low and I contacted support to speak to them about this. They told me that their system needs time to adapt to the site and begin serving effective ads to get me more revenue and to help the right advertisors. After showing over 100k impressions I did in fact notice my rates improving. For now my CPM rate for pop-unders is over $1.00 per 100 impressions and for banner impressions (468 * 60 and 120 * 600) it ranges daily from $.06 - $.12. The stats for Right Media are fairly accurate and are very close the actual stats for me. In some cases they actually show more than what my stats have showed so I am impressed with that. The only negative side to Right Media is the paying schedule. They pay net 60 meaning it takes about 2 months to get a check earning your money. I have not gotten a check from Right Media yet but I should be getting one fairly soon.

    AdBrite:
I have been using adbrite on an off and on basis. I mostly use adbrite to advertise on and not be a publisher but have recently become a publisher. I think AdBrite is very effective in trying to get advertisors to sign up on your site. You basically get to set your own prices on what you to charge and AdBrite has a listing where your site is listed so advertisors come to you. I used their "network" ads as well and it isn't too effective and I don't make to much. This system is more for looking for advertisors rather than using network ads in my opinion (at least for my site). I have not gotten a check from AdBrite yet but I "should" be getting one soon. On the flip side their support is absolutely excellent. I like how some of their staff is on AIM and you are able to easily chat with them. They have contacted me twice on their own to help me advertise my site and provide me with effective information to earn more revenue.

I hope this helped anyone looking to make money from somewhere. Feel free to leave any comments and add any info you like. If you are going to sign up for these networks I would appreciate the referal but again it is of course not required.

    Thanks for the credits :)

The trojans came up pretty frequently, the only funny thing was it would never show up from my personal computer when I went to my own site but when I started going to my own site via one of my dedicated servers I noticed the trojan popup come up every single time...

    weird...

    Your welcome.

Yes the rates are good but you can't risk too much of allow your visitors to be infected with a trojan. In my case, having the person you advertise with come to your site and get pissed off :)

I think popup providers have very limited inventory. Maximum casino, gambling ads are displayed in popups.

I just wanted to give some updates on some of these programs:

Adversal: I still continue to value their service as it is a wonderful company and payments are always on time and consistent. In addition just to let you guys know once you earn over $600 you have to submit your tax information

RightMedia: I started getting checks from them and their support although lags a little bit (sometimes) they are great and I would reccomend if your rates aren't high enough to contact them and see if they can help you optimize some ads. They helped me and my rates doubled!

AdBrite: I got my check from them so this is valid as well :)

Hope this stuff helps. I'll be writing up some more reviews soon!

Was the paypopup spyware issue resolved or do they still have the rep of downloading spyware to PCs?

Yeah, they raised the payout to $100 and I think they still run adware campaigns in the PopUps ...

i think since they are all pop ups then they can't be applied along with Adsense

plus, visitors hate pop ups and they won't be back to the site again

Yeah I took down the adversal popups due to adsense TOS. However I did have the adversal popups long enough to get paid, and indeed I did get paid on the 16th, so at least it's good to know that adversal pays. Now if they would come up with a cpm for banners instead of popups, I'd take a serious look.
