India: How they treat Brahmins Please Indians, make donations to our Hindu temples, at least some % of your adsense.
hey mate, i understand if you have been affected by this, but i'd suggest not posting anything which goes against any religion or community. You might end up hurting people's feeling s ! Cheers
who is real Brahmin ? what is the meaning of Brahmin ? Brahmin means who has knowledge, its not a just caste by "born"
Another Indian thread! Phew! You are crazy !!! Whats wrong in this video.... Ppl of other sections of societies have been doing it for centuries.... and you make a video of couple of brahmans and what do you want to prove here??? That Brahmans have to be worshiped as gods and rest of the ppl revolve around them.... Stop day- dreaming... Wake up my friends...
Correct me if I am wrong, I thought Brahmin are the highest caste in the Hindu system and they are extremely well respected because of their position in the Hindu society.
You are not the one who needs to be corrected... The thread starter is the one who actually needs to be corrected. REVERSE DISCRIMINATION !!!! Does it really exist ??
Looks to me they have jobs. This economy is in a downturn, also looks to me like you are ebegging for money, do what they do and get a real job bro if you are that desperate
not sure about the OP or the video, but i love the author of the video! used to read his columns when he wrote for Indian express! should go to is site and read indian history about aryan dravidian and british raj! and i remember his article on Nostradomus and his predictions for India!... a must read! talks about BJP-Congress, and Sanskrit! Video... well this is what happens when you go from a caste based economic specialization system, to a mere democratic - capitalist economy system,... every one has got to earn for himself!!! as Nehru rightly put it,.... "the fittest servives"! EDIT: i have doubts the video is from the real Francois Gautier, coz his style of reporting is diffrent!
My opinion is that someone can only be judged by their actions, not by who/what he is born into. Therefore I reject the caste system as its just plain discrimination. What I get from the video, is the brahmins (normaly holy people) are not getting respected/paid/used enough. Maybe I am simplifying the problem but can't they just get a different job!
Doesn't make sense at all. Just because someone's born a brahmin should he be treated with a silver spoon? If being a temple priest doesn't bring in enough income, then choose a different profession instead of asking people/government for donations.
