ReachLocal.com Getting Away With Fake Display URLs
I'm getting pretty tired of seeing this so I will ask everyone here for their opinions. I was told by Google (and I am sure this is true for 99% of everyone else out there) that you must have the same destination URL as display in your adwords ads.
Ex: Display = website.com Destination = website.com/offer You cannot (according to Google) have: Ex: Display = website.com Destination = website.adcompany.com/offer How is this possible? Any thoughts? J |

As far as I can tell, several months ago Google began automating the checking of this, but so far it is not happening in real time, which means many ads can get away with it for a while.
Send a message to AdWords support, tell on the culprit. |
