Just wanted to share this day with you because it's exactly one year from my first sale EVER and I'm so happy to finally break this $100 milestone. So here it is baby: I've been waiting for this day for so long and it has finally happened. I remember writing dozens of articles and not getting a single sale for months.. man was that tough. And I've kept the ezinearticles experiment thread where I've wrote about this experiment me and my bro did... So yesterday he got his first $100 day and today I got one too. It's funny how things turn out. I think it's clear I love IM. What a great feeling it was this morning to wake up and I see that first sale (that clickbank tracked as yesterdays b/c of different timezone BUT for me it counts as todays sale - screw their timezones) and the more I worked the more sales came in. So now it's midnight here and the last sale came in to break the $100 mark. Whoa. I feel a bit like Santa came in early this year. Cheers to $1000 day by the end of 2009. PS: check out this vid it's hilarious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_sA1OQ_eUw
Congrats and Happy HoHo! Aim for $1000/day by next month not next year - aim for the moon land in the stars. Cheers to your ! Judging by your number/volume and diversity, you should take a shot at promoting higher priced items, imagine making 50-100 per sale up there... N
Imagine also a refund on a 57.67$ commission...1st Sale on the niche through PPC-1st refund Of course the higher commissions the better but not with 90% sure refunds included, and i refer to the forex niche. You are on the right path Jose.
Exceptionally true comment on forex, mmo, etc higher ticket niches, much bigger risk much bigger reward, otherwise we wouldn't keep doing them as pubs either... None the less yes refunds suck on any item/pricepoint/niche, perhaps Nino is right stick to low risk for now... N.
You know what, I'll test a few high priced products and who knows what'll happen. NCmedia I swear I'll send you a beer internationally if your suggestion makes me a lot of profit. As for the refunds it's a risk I'm prepared to accept... Think about the very nature of IM. Every single decision you make is usually high risk either in terms of wasted money OR time. But once you put a lot of winning tickets together, then the IM magic starts happening because that one refund stops meaning anything since you have 10-20 sales per day that stay in your pocket.
Awesome work dude...........can I get a loan for Xmas? Just kidding, keep it up and you'll be posting "First $200 day!" soon!
Great job man! I've had one and it's pretty awesome. Been pretty dry lately but also hard at work. Hopefully I'll see the money soon.
good stuff man! I just had a couple of my 1st 100$ days just a week or so ago! It's a great feeling, wish you the best - and why not aim at 1000$K by next month. That's my goal!
Sweeet Congo on the milestone, now just take your best performing articles, dissect their benefits and replicate. Sounds simple, but hey, what do I know
Jose, to take it to the next level will take some change of your current routine. I take it that you are using bum marketing/SEO traffic? Either: - seriously ramp up your rate of pushing out those site pages, long term it will reward you with increased SEO traffic. - consider PPC (this still scares me, I have made several campaigns that were unfortunately not profitable, I will personally wait until my earnings are much higher before going back) - look into other traffic methods that do not require as much effort or are autopilot. Tough to find (the really good ones people will not give away their secrets). - increase conversion (if you can learn list building then this would be great. I advise to concentrate on one niche at a time, I have tried listbuilding simultaneously in 5 different niches and it is very difficult to be sincere in your emails). I am in not too different a situation to you. I am launching 5 new content sites and will drive some initial traffic with articles, hopefully SEO will take over. Then I will plug in a traffic idea that I have. edit: btw to find products paying more per sale, search marketplace and sort by "total $/sale", this will also take care of refunds too so you can see the average even if refunds are considered, it also takes into account back-end sales.
