I have an Adtoll account but it appears that since last Thursday all the account figures are frozen and not updating. The only data to update is my account balance. I am able to book a new ad, and the money is removed from my account. But it appears that the ad never commences. As ads are running out, they stop and are not replaced by my renewals and the data from the ads as they run out is not being updated. My logs show that I am not receiving traffic for the newly booked ads. I have emailed a couple of times but there is no response apart from the automated emails saying my new bookings have been accepted. I hope that this is merely a glitch and not a big problem as Adtoll is a great source of cheap ads for advertisers and has a great interface. Its also a great place for novice publishers to get exposure. I have been unable to find out anything on the web - hopefully someone in here knows a bit more about this. see ya ET
I have this too but the publisher side, I was getting around 200 clicks a day but for the last 5 days its shown 0. The account stats where it shows impressions have not updated either stay at the same number for 5 days.
I have a huge Traffic,nearly 80000 impression per day But unable to get any ad booking. What to do now ??
I am afraid I have more bad news I am exactly in the same boat They are taking money from the account but ad never starts. The support team is gone, no reply for several days I was supposed to get a refund and several weeks later there is no sign of it something is terribly wrong or something even more terible may be coming
quick update - it appears that some of my ads that should have expired last week are still running but new ads are not[this is from looking at the publishers websites]. There was a 5 day break in all the stats recorded and there appears to be an erratic impact on the number of clicks to my sites that I would normally see from these ads. My logs showed a massive surge in the number of views, for one day about ten days ago, followed by a significant slump for over a week. Yesterday there was a momentary surge again from some of the Adtoll adverts but today there is no impact again. No response from Adtoll account manager to my request for information, even though the automated response indicates they will respond in 24 hours - and they normally do. I suppose this week will tell as they should be back from Xmas holidays see ya ET
I am the founder of AdToll which everyone knows was sold in recent months. I assure you the issues that have been experienced recently are temporary and is really a symptom of handing over the company to the new owners. They are getting their feet on the ground though and things will pick up! In terms of support I have raised the issue with them. I know the new owners quite well and there is no cause for concern, things will get back to normal.
Thanks for responding Ruby One thing that has pained me more than anything is the sheer drop in customer service since adtoll was sold. While you guys were responding within minutes and were always glued to computers, the service level since has gone down to drain completely. The new ads are not starting, old advertisers are simply swithing adtoll off, the money is not getting refunded etc are just a few problems. I really hope adtoll comes out of this funk quickly because there are way too many players out there to grab a part of the pie and the recent delays and problems are alarming to say the least
thanks for your response Ruby. It never ceases to amaze me the number of times things go pear shaped as a result of making a change. Doesnt anybody test things anymore? Whilst one can understand there may be handover difficulties, it only takes a few minutes to communicate either via their website, or via a mass emailing to all customers. So, 0/10 for communication for the new owners - lets hope they can pull their fingers out and get it right. see ya ET
For the time being stay away I have not a single reponse to my support emails in past 10 days, no resolution either None of the ads I bought started, I have simply lost the money The transfer was fine, the problems started just 15 days ago and have multiplied rapidly Sorry Ruby and/or Dan If it was not for you guys' awesome support in the past, I would not have wasted hundreds of my precious $$ like this
Yeah, my new bookings are also not taken care off. Money transfer went through and that's it. Quite lousy service atm.
