I'm looking for a source that can give me information about a domain's ownership (registration) history.

    Thans Smyrl!

But I guess what I'm looking for is considered "whois history".

CR, check out these links, maybe you email the author of this book and ask him or just contact www.moniker.com and they will run a history on the name for you.

Crazy Rob, I hope this helps:
whois.sc has a domain history service. Check it out: http://www.whois.sc/whois-history/
I haven't used it but you need their "silver plan" $15/month deal to see the history of the domain (they've records back to 2001 I guess).
    good luck.

    Thanks, onestop!

I use whois.sc (great resource) but I only need this one time and don't feel like upgrading to the Silver membership.

If anyone has a silver membership, PM me! :p
