Well I have been very close many times but this month around 10 minutes ago I passed the $10,000 mark I do mainly earn from other sources and it's a big bonus but it was still a target I wanted to achieve just for the hell of it as it is still a magical figure to me which I am pretty happy about seeing as I, like many, have stumbled along over the last few years reading forums like DP working as a one man band.
From my first site 6 years, but when I started there was no adsense so I don't really know how to quantify that.
The real earning sites are the niche smaller one's that get less traffic, it's quite amazing what you can earn on some of them, I will say this: If you rank for a business name in a good niche ~ it can pay dividends, especially as the business markets its brand, I am not talking large corps here but I have maybe 5 websites that I tested that rank either 1 or generally 2 for the business names and they pay large, when these businesses advertise and push their brand ~ kerching!
Congratulations "I will say this: If you rank for a business name in a good niche ~ it can pay dividends, especially as the business markets its brand, I am not talking large corps here but I have maybe 5 websites that I tested that rank either 1 or generally 2 for the business names and they pay large, when these businesses advertise and push their brand ~ kerching!" Can you explicate more this . Regards
This is why I read the forums here on D.P. It's better than reading a book or being in class. That one quote may be the biggest eye-opener I've read this month.
I enjoy seo and serps and adsense, yes the 10k is all adsense, its a challenge. I am not recommending this as you could lose your domain/site but I did it for a test/trial/fun and it bumped me up this month. Look for a decent sized business in your country, some are still very anal when it comes to online promotion so they are easy to beat on all 3 engines. This traffic isn't measured and doesn't show up in any tools. I chose one business in the UK , household name generally offline and they state 80% brand recognition. The business name .net was free so I registered it, built a site and am No.2 google No.1 MSN & Yahoo Its done $500 this month so far from 2500 page impressions, that's page impressions not uniques. They are unlikely to even notice me and they don't yet embrace ecommerce very well, there are still plenty of companies like that, they do however generate searches.
How many girls you got working for you for that cash?? lol oj wish I was on that much like my milestone now is 10$...
congratulations,i was earning 60 dollars a month since my last strategy im earning 70 USD a week, i can only imagine what its like to earn 10 k, proves it works.
Hey that's just a little of what I get up to just to offer ideas, I run many large sites and do all sorts, but that piggy back tactic is a low effort high yield gem I thought I would share. For my main businesses I advertise and seo and won't go into great depth about.
Great going there Scott, some blokes really do have their hands in the right pies... if you know what I mean. So many companies that make a good name for themselves by word of mouth or whatever have absolutely no idea how to put up a good website and grab that market share. I just wish I could think of one right now as your figures/quotes really gimmie the kick in the right direction. Motivational post, thanks, Dave PS: excuse grammar/spelling, warm night and had a few beers.
