Did Google Ban Their Own Site?

Discussion in 'Google' started by Lavinco, Dec 11, 2008.

Or am I just seeing things? I can't find a google.com site anywhere in their serps. no "google", "analytics". "adwords", "adsense" or anything related to the .com.

It all worked fine at my office on a Comcast connection. Now I'm at home on a Charter connection. It's either Charter, a virus, Matt Cutts doing crack, or I am just seeing things.

Funny but you are correct! I tired "google", "adwords", and "search engine" and none of their .COM's came up.

Hahaha - their own bot probably flagged them as MFA :) .... seems Google is the only web site that is allowed to automate their website and have auto content .... ironic.

These are common and I see many sites disappear and appear back. Could be a problem with their indexing..!

They can easily set up some of their services such as "adwords", "adsense" on sponsored search.

Either that or they were working on something. Either way it won't affect their traffic, and it doesn't really affect anyone else.

Well it caused at least one person to not check their analytics, adsense and adwords accounts. So they did lose 1 visitor for sure because I don't remember their exact urls. I always google, I mean search google for them. :D
