Look at these dopes: http://www.seo-today.com/crawler/topic-245.html They should be ashamed of themselves....
I have banned more of them than you could imagine. I imagine they are paid per post so deleting them probably costs them money
What a waste.... It probably results in more posts like this than it's worth.... I saw someone else post about them doing this.... Makes them look pretty cheesy for an engine trying to make a serious impression on the industry.
I think one of the disturbing trends are the companies that are paid to go on message boards and promote. This looks pretty amateur to me, but the trend is disturbing.
Their spelling is actually with 2 C's btw, Clas ... I made an even bigger mistake when I registered http://www.acoonasucks.com oh well, Acoona Matada
Sitetutor, you can add seoguy's forum to your blog aswell - http://www.seo-guy.com/forum/thread6844.html Basically they had copied and pasted their about us page
Well, they certainly know how to make a negitive name for themself now, don't they? I dont understand their results.. my site is number one for Josh Powell in Yahoo and MSN, (used to be in google, until my site disapeared from the listings), but in Accoona its not even mentioned, which is weird since they are using Yahoo results. Josh
How do you know that they are using Yahoo results for sure and not a combination of results from different sources Josh Do you feel that they are only using results that have sponsored ads included
Well, if you look closely.. all the search results (both the 'organic' and sponsored ones) point through overture.com JOsh
Accoona have been around for a while and have been consistently crap, imho, which isn't surprising when the search engine is named after a naff song from a disney cartoon.
