WTS: *Established* 3 Arcade topsites: (1)PR4, (2)PR2 300+ members, making $$

I've lost interest in the Arcade niche and am selling my topsites (listed in my signature). These sites are an excellent addition for someone who is actively working the arcade niche. Not only can you benefit from the PR, but you can easily double what I'm currently making by posting a few link sales.

The main site is http://best-arcade.net (PR4). Currently Alexa 468k.

Income:
$50 a month from text-link-ads.com
$5-10 a month from Adengage
$1-2 from Adsense

If I were going to keep this site I'd remove adsense and sell links instead, which could EASILY add another $50-$100 a month to the income.

Traffic:

I don't know how much traffic this site gets because it runs on Aardvark and skews awstats to the point its irrelevant. I've also had AWstats disabled off and on to save on system resources because of the proxy sites I run on the server. Probably the closest thing I have is adsense impressions which show 45k for last month, or anywhere from 1500-2100 a day.

The Two others are itopsites.com topsites which are more for linking than income. I have done absolutely nothing with these sites since I acquired them last February and they have been consistant with income & traffic.

The main issue is that best-arcade.net requires a lot of resources and I run a lot of proxy sites on my dedicated server. The two just don't play well together and so this is the one that has to go! If you are interested in this site you are not going to be able to run it on a shared hosting plan, and in fact you are going to need a fairly decent VPN plan, or a dedicated server. If I wasn't running 70 proxies and getting slammed with that traffic, I'd be fine on my xeon server with 2gigs ram.

When I purchased the site I tried putting it on a VPS at glowhost.com that had 640mb RAM with 1.5gb burstable (don't remember cpu) and it killed the entire server before breakfast. So, I just want to make sure nobody is mislead thinking this site is going to run on some crummy $4.95 a month shared plan.

So there you have it folks. It's pretty much a turn-key set and it's a sure-bet for a lot more income with a little bit of tweaking.

Thanks for your honesty regarding the server requirements. Considering server costs with a website like this you are barely covering expenses. A few questions:

Is the adsense revenue posted of $1 - $2 daily, monthly?

Do you think that TLA will transfer the clients to the buyers account?

Is the site transfer included in the sale?

The adsense is monthly and yes, TLA will transfer the account. I had to have them do this when I bought the site earlier this year.

As far as hosting, you're right: if this were the only site you were going to run it wouldn't be worth it. But if you're running several arcades and either have a dedicated, or are thinking about one, with the income from this site, and the potential from the link sales, it would be an excellent fit. Not to mention you could always link your own arcades off the top instead of selling links & give yourself a nice PR & traffic boost.
